I Stalked Him Back Has Released!


The end is here. The final book in the Love at First Crime series is now live. I never realized how much of an undertaking this series was going to be when I first started writing I Stole His Car in 2016. I certainly never expected it to take seven books to complete. Thank you to everyone who gave this series a try and stuck it out for the almost two years it took for me to finish. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I hope you all are too. Each book has meant something special to me. Each book has helped me through something, even if it was just the escape of writing it, or feeling these characters in my head again to keep me company. It has become so special and I’m grateful to everyone who took a chance on it. I unfortunately had a long gap between the first four books and the last three, but so many of you came back and supported this series, even when I jumped from m/f to m/m and f/f. You took a chance and I’m so appreciative of that.

So what’s next?

I’m writing a new series. It’s still a while off, but I can tell you it is looking like a five book series. It will follow the same two characters. Each book alternates the POV. It is m/m. It is about a town sheriff and Conner who you briefly met in books three, four and five of the Love at First Crime series (Sasha’s college best friend). Each book will have a mystery attached to it that will be solved by the end of the book. The relationship will progress over all five books. And the last thing you need to know is that I won’t be releasing the first book until I am done with the last one. I don’t want another long wait between books. I want a release schedule figured out before I even reveal the first cover. And I think they’ll be releasing close together. I’m working on the third book right now and it is nearing the end. In a perfect world I could have at least one out late this year. But I won’t promise that. I’d originally planned for the first four books to be out this year (it would match the time frame the books are set in. Book four is set at Christmas time and I really wanted that one to release in December, but it’s not going to happen that way). Unfortunately life got in the way. But just like with my Love at First Crime series, I know these characters deserve to have their story told. And right now it is full of love, family, humour, romance, sexy times, mystery, and a town you will absolutely fall in love with.

I think that’s all for now. I’ll keep you updated with any news for this upcoming series. Otherwise I’ll likely disappear again for a while as I write.

Thank You For Your Support!

Hey all! So, I had some grand plans to put up a post to speak about the final book in the In Midsummer series being released. I was going to speak about the series and send out my gratitude to all the readers who embraced these characters and this fictional town. It’s been my most successful series to date. But looking back I realized I never did. I didn’t even post about Loving Love releasing. I think this is what happens when I release so close together. I get burnt out! Four books in four months, and overall, eight books in ten-ish months were a huge undertaking for me. And they were all actually finished last year, so this year I’ve been on a bit of a writing hiatus. (I have still been writing, just not on any kind of schedule. Only when I feel like it. October Update

And we’re already into November! This year is just zooming by. I had a slightly more successful month for my writing. I managed to finish the first draft of the second book in my new sci-fi series. I like to have the entire story finished in at least draft form before I begin the process of covers for any or worrying about getting my editors on board. I have never, and don’t think I will ever, release a series without having it complete first. I have a horrible fear of starting something I can’t finish and letting people down. So I am now halfway through that series in terms of first drafts. Unfortunately there will be many more drafts to come. I also managed some great reading this month. A friend is obsessed with Kresley Cole and I mentioned I hadn’t read anything by her. So I was then given every Cole paperback in one hit. So that was overwhelming, but I am absolutely in love with the IAD series. This world she has created is amazing. Anyway, here are some books I loved this
