Three Month Update

Image
Oops, I haven’t updated in a while. And even given the long break, I don’t have much writing progress to update. I have managed to read nearly fifty books in the past three months. Here are a few I loved: Blind Salvage  by  Shannon Mayer Book five in the series and shit just got super real in this one. I just know my heart is going to be broken soon. Tiger Shark  by  L.P. Lovell I have never read a story from this author before, but this one was immediately placed in my favourites folder on my kindle. I LOVED Georgia and she has also become one of my top heroines ever. I was blown away with this and would recommend to every romance reader! Payne  by  Kim Linwood Another new to me author and I was blown away by this book. A serious story with humour scattered throughout. I was glue to my kindle reading this and a new author for me to keep an eye out on. When a Lioness Snarls  by  Eve Langlais This is the fifth book in this series an

April Update

Image
Well, April was a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand I finished the third book in my new series, however I hit a block when it came to the novella so I decided to go back to book one and start editing. I absolutely hated the first few chapters which was super disheartening. So I decided the best course of action was to bury my head and kindle in the sand and just read instead. So my writing went nowhere, BUT I read some amazing books! Here are a few I loved: Recurve  by  Shannon Mayer I knew I would enjoy this since I love the Rylee Adamson series and I connect to Mayer’s writing. I didn’t expect to completely fall in love with this story, the characters and the world. Wow. Incredible. I can’t bring myself to read book two yet just so I can savior this a little bit more. Dating A Dragon  by  Georgette St. Clair I’ve read a few dragon stories, but I loved the world and rules Georgette created for this one. These dragons were so interesting and th

March Update

Image
Not a real lot to report on for March. I’m nearing the end of the third book in my still untitled new series. My plan was originally to write the first three and then go back over to begin editing, but I’ve had an idea for a novella sized fourth book to round off the first three books… so that means I need to finish that one before I go back over them all. If all goes well, this series should begin releasing close to the end of the year. I will keep details posted on the progress on this blog. March was another great reading month! Here are some I loved: My Healer by Alanea Alder  is the third book in the Bewitched and Bewildered series. I LOVED this one and this entire series. This is honestly a must read series for paranormal fans. I have now purchased all these books in paperbacks so I can stare lovingly at them always! Amazon US Play by Kylie Scott was fantastic! I LOVED Lick and was terrified that I would find the rest of this series lacking because

February Update

Image
So, February went by way too fast. It was very much a reading month and not a writing month for me. I read some great reads, which I will list a few below. I was also overwhelmed by the support Revolution received and grateful for all the blogs who signed up for the review tour and the blitz. Everyone was so incredibly kind and generous. I felt very lucky! So now to some of the books I read during February, all of which I would absolutely recommend! Waking the Dragon – Juliette Cross (incredible world building and such a fantastic story!) Amazon US Pleasure of a Dark Prince – Kresley Cole (Another fantastic addition to the IAD series. An absolute must read!) Amazon US Rock Chick Rescue – Kristen Ashley (A fun, action-filled story that left me laughing and gasping!) Amazon US Rock Chick Redemption - Kristen Ashley (A heart-warming story about learning to trust and love again, with all the trademark humour and action from t

January Update!

Image
Revolution has now been out for a week and I’ve gotten some great feedback so far! I quickly want to thank everyone for their support with the release and soon there will be a book tour and blitz happening. Since I took a couple weeks off my full time job I had a lot more time to read and write this month. I’m working on something new with my writing and just in this month I’ve finished two first-drafts of a new paranormal world. I want to finish one more before I properly look at it to see if this new series is worth publishing. I will keep that progress updated on here. I have read some fantastic books in January! Here are some I loved: The Vampire's Mail Order Bride - Kristen Painter (Paranormal Romance - great writing, world building and funny banter!) Amazon US My Protector - Alanea Alder (Paranormal Romance and just like book one, it was hilarious! Also I think I might honestly be completely in love with Gavriel) Amazon US A Tiger&#
