Well, April was a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand I finished the third book in my new series, however I hit a block when it came to the novella so I decided to go back to book one and start editing. I absolutely hated the first few chapters which was super disheartening. So I decided the best course of action was to bury my head and kindle in the sand and just read instead. So my writing went nowhere, BUT I read some amazing books! Here are a few I loved: Recurve  by  Shannon Mayer I knew I would enjoy this since I love the Rylee Adamson series and I connect to Mayer’s writing. I didn’t expect to completely fall in love with this story, the characters and the world. Wow. Incredible. I can’t bring myself to read book two yet just so I can savior this a little bit more. Not a real lot to report on for March. I’m nearing the end of the third book in my still untitled new series. My plan was originally to write the first three and then go back over to begin editing, but I’ve had an idea for a novella sized fourth book to round off the first three books… so that means I need to finish that one before I go back over them all. If all goes well, this series should begin releasing close to the end of the year. I will keep details posted on the progress on this blog. March was another great reading month! Here are some I loved: My Healer by Alanea Alder  is the third book in the Bewitched and Bewildered series. I LOVED this one and this entire series. So, February went by way too fast. It was very much a reading month and not a writing month for me. I read some great reads, which I will list a few below. I was also overwhelmed by the support Revolution received and grateful for all the blogs who signed up for the review tour and the blitz. Everyone was so incredibly kind and generous. I felt very lucky! So now to some of the books I read during February, all of which I would absolutely recommend! Revolution has now been out for a week and I’ve gotten some great feedback so far! I quickly want to thank everyone for their support with the release and soon there will be a book tour and blitz happening. Since I took a couple weeks off my full time job I had a lot more time to read and write this month. I’m working on something new with my writing and just in this month I’ve finished two first-drafts of a new paranormal world. I want to finish one more before I properly look at it to see if this new series is worth publishing. I will keep that progress updated on here. I have read some fantastic books in January! So here is the cover for my next release: Revolution This is a standalone New Adult Dystopian book. The cover was designed by  MGbookcover  and this book was edited by the amazing  C&D Editing . First update for the year! Although this might place the date as 31 st of Dec. In Australia it’s the first and I spent my NYE reading and eating pizza. It was perfect. My next update will be roughly in a week which will include the cover reveal for Revolution. So I thought I could use this one to post my best reads for 2015.  Bound Series  by  Cynthia Eden A series of short paranormal reads that I breezed through. I love how Eden writes and the worlds she manages to create. A special mention to  Hotter After Midnight   which I loved,  Once Bitten, Twice Burned , and I read and loved  Marked By The Vampire  and  Charming The Beast   which were fantastic also. This year has gone so fast! November was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I’ll start with the good news. I finished my standalone book! I went a little writing mad and wrote close to 50,000 words on it to make this draft finish at around 90,000 words. Not a bad size. This is a New Adult Dystopian Romance. I have a cover almost ready and that reveal will happen early January. It is called Revolution and I am hoping for a release towards the end of January. So I’ll have more news to share on that next month. I also lost my Nanna on November 24 th . I was very close with her and I am devastated. She loved reading and for much of my life I always remember her with a book by her side. She loved to read romance. She took a bad turn last year and that got me thinking about death and that is where the idea for Haunted Love came from. Even though it wasn’t a complete surprise, I still feel shocked that she is really gone. So a sad end for November. I didn’t read as much this month either. ...
